?How to check the axle loads of your car
Rating plate

Be sure to check the maximum permissible loads on both axles of your car. This is crucial information! Only if these values are not exceeded, you have a guarantee that the lowering of the car and the operation of the suspension will be consistent with the catalog. You will find this data only on the car's rating plate. The commonly used coding is 1 - XXX kg / 2 - XXX kg, where respectively "1 -" is the maximum permissible front axle load and "2 -" is the maximum permissible rear axle load. Write down these values and compare them with the catalog. If any of them exceed the value from the catalog, it means that the product is not intended for your car.

24During the installation of suspension set the clearance between tire/rim and suspension strut shall be checked. The minimum allowed gap is 5mm (0,2 inch). Otherwise use certificated wheel spacers.
118Vehicles equipped with EDC and / or V8 engines will need additional OE parts. FRONT AXLE: 2x dome bearing (BMW part: 31336752735), 2x washer (BMW part: 31336776760), 2x sealing washer (BMW part: 31331110196).

Notes by version

73For easier height adjustment, we recommend removing the height adjustment, changing the position of the spring plate and reinstalling the height adjustment on the vehicle.
